Cheesy Texas Toast

• Preheat the oven to 400 ° F (205 ° C).
• Place the baking slices on the baking tray.
• In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and chopped garlic (if using).
• Brush the mixture evenly on both sides of the sliced bread.
• Sprinkle evenly grated cheese over each slice.
• Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the golden brown colour of the bread becomes.
